This lovely 1.5 km circular route offers a great opportunity for families to enjoy nature together. After exploring the banana fields, you can head inland to the mountains for a classic Levada walk. Levadas are narrow paths that trace the route of irrigation canals. This particular stretch of ‘Levada Nova’ begins in Tabua, Ribeira Brava.
The walk is accessible to all, inviting everyone to experience a different side of the island’s beauty.
